This past weekend, the Copthall North Site buzzed with excitement as families, industry professionals, and curious onlookers gathered for another unforgettable Family Day. The event was a perfect blend of innovation, collaboration, and community spirit.

Under the radiant sun, our Liebherr LTM1110-5.1 crane stood proudly. This marvel is a testament to engineering excellence and technological advancement, equipped with the multi-award-winning “VarioBase®” system.

Demonstrating its capabilities and robustness, the LTM1110-5.1 captivated an enthusiastic crowd both young and slightly older. It’s sleek design and reliable performance symbolise the future of the heavy-lifting industry.

We were delighted to be joined by Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture partners. Their presence and expertise enriched the day’s activities, fostering a deeper understanding of the collaborative efforts that drive the HS2 project forward. Emerson’s Dave Rees was also in attendance to share his valuable insights and a wealth of knowledge.

The event went beyond mechanical displays; It was about building connections and celebrating the collective effort behind great projects like HS2. The collaboration between our teams is an example of what can be accomplished when dedicated business leaders come together to achieve a common goal.

All the families enjoyed the interactive exhibits & fun activities, making it a day to remember. From crane demonstrations to Static Plant displays, Balloon modelling & even Ice Cream there was something for everyone. The atmosphere was filled with fun and learning, as people from all walks of life gained a new appreciation for the hard work behind the scenes of a large Infrastructure construction project.

The beautiful weather made the event all the more enjoyable, with clear skies and a gentle breeze, it was the perfect place to celebrate innovation and community outdoors.
