Your duty is to provide all the relevant documentation and insurance cover, ensuring that the crane and the lifting operation meet the necessary legal requirements, certifications & standards. Emerson will supply a tested and certificated crane, along with a qualified and competent crane operator.
Contract Lifting Services
Our contract lifting service differs in that Emerson will take responsibility for the lifting operation. You will be provided with the crane, lifting equipment and tackle, documentation and certification.

On top of that, with our contract lift service we will take care of the necessary personnel to plan and undertake the lift; including a dedicated appointed person, crane supervisor, crane operator and slinger/signaller. This is generally a popular option when workers on projects are not experienced with using cranes, or when the lift is particularly complex.

When you choose our contract lift services, you’ll be assigned an appointed person who will have the knowledge, experience and understanding of all lifting operations. They will conduct an on-site inspection, manage the lift and provide a full set of Risk Assessments & Method Statement (RAMS) and a lifting plan.
Our slinger/signallers, crane operators and crane supervisors have extensive training and ample experience, enabling them to carry out any contract lift to a high standard.
