New LTM 1040-2.1 40T Liebherr

Emerson Crane Hire are happy to announce the purchase of a brand new LTM 1040-2.1 40t Liebherr, the purchase of this crane is part of our ongoing investment programme to increase and update our fleet with the latest machines and lifting equipment.

The two-axle crane has a maximum load capacity of 40t offering an outstanding load carrying performance over the entire operating area. The long, continuously variable 4-section telescopic boom is extended quickly to any required length by means of the proven hydro-mechanical telescoping system, and the telescoping operation can also be performed under load. Both axles of the compact crane are driven and steerable. This ensures excellent all-terrain capability and manoeuvrability on even the most confined building sites.

The 40t crane has just recently been on display on a stand at the The Vertikal Days, in Haydock, the premier annual event for the lifting industry used to showcase new products and machines, the crane has now been sent back to Liebherr in Biggleswade to start our driver inductions and will be in use by Monday 26th of May 2014.
